With over twenty-one (21) years of being a Realtor in the Hampton Roads Area, I have had the opportunity to become an expert in all things Real Estate. Working with buyers and sellers allows me to use my knowledge and experience to make your home goals a reality.

After moving here from California with two (2) small children and an early retirement from the United States Navy, Real Estate was a career path that allowed me the freedom to continue serving my community in a very real way that had an impact on people’s lives.

In addition to working with buyers and sellers, working for builders, banks and handling a property management portfolio, has allowed me to take the next step into being an instructor with Mosely Real Estate School. I am able to be an active and successful agent while teaching and sharing my knowledge and skill set with each new local agent who is embarking on their career.

I currently serve as Chair on the Virginia Risk Management Committee. I have actively participated in numerous VPAR functions including Realtor on the Hill and Awards Banquets. I’ve met with political leaders on matters relating to real estate, regularly provided input into policy discussions at the VPAR Board level and I regularly serve as an advocate for the real estate profession and home ownership in my encounters with the community and fellow professionals.

Serving on the VPAR Board and Virginia Realtor Board has afforded me a unique opportunity to actively engage in the inner workings of the complex world of managing a Professional Realtor Association. I personally understand the personal and professional commitment necessary to successfully and insightfully address day to matters of importance. I know how important visionary deliberation and compromise are in addressing matters relating to the Realtor profession.

Some of my community involvement includes being active with my church serving as Deacon, Chair Male choir and Chair of Security team. I previously served as Deacon Chair, Trustee Chair and Building Chair of the completed 2 Million dollars Sanctuary and Church Office Complex project. I was selected by our church as Man of Year and other commendations over the years. I have served on the Boards of the YMCA, American Red Cross, and Peninsula Reads and was charter President of a local chapter of the Kiwanis. I am a member of NAREB, VPAR, NAR and Williamsburg Realtors. I am a Life member of Kappa Alpha Psi and Life member of NOBLE (National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives) and founding member of the local chapter.

The NAACP presented me with the “Living Legend Award” and COMPA with the “Silver Star of Distinction Award” among other professional commendations in past years. I’m a Virginia Realtor Honor Society nominee, RPAC Sterling R member and during my term as VPAR President we achieved the RPAC Triple Crown Award.

Hampton City Council appointed me to serve on the following city boards: 1) Building Code Board of Appeals (Chair) and 2) Board of Review of Real Estate Assessments.

I am a retired Law Enforcement Executive with years of administration and management experience in business, civic and professional boards.

I have prior VPAR Board and Virginia Realtor Board experience and years of leadership, budget, personnel and organizational skills. My professional background and experience will be helpful in pursuing the vision and goals of any forward-thinking organization.

I continue to advance the ideals of our profession, while always being open to our membership and public for input that will improve our profession. I am a consensus builder that works well with other Realtors, public and political leaders.
